Communist: S. Sargsyan and G. Tsarukian know what happened

“The authorities are trying to clean the political field and to make their path smoother. Currently, people, who have not carried out activities in the political field, are nominated as presidential candidates,” the first secretary of the Communist Party of Armenia Ruben Tovmasian said at a press conference.

“Nothing will change in the country after the election. The presidential election will be held in the same way as the parliamentary elections. Candidates will be nominated again soon, while later there will be a situation, in which clashes and falsifications will be inevitable,” the chief communist of the country stated, adding that any ideology, any target programs are absent.

Speaking about the decision of BHK leader Gagik Tsarukian not to run in the election, Tovmasian said that the real reason will never be publicized, “but two men – Gagik Tsarukian and Serzh Sargsyan - probably know it”.

“I don’t want to interfere in the functions of that party. These are their internal problems, which have to be solved by them. It is clear who will be elected by those people who voted for BHK in the parliamentary elections: they will vote for the one who will give more money,” the communist said in conclusion.
