HHK deputy condemns eavesdropping

“It was a nasty, blameworthy, and penal deed,” the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction’s deputy Samvel Badeyan expressed this opinion, when commenting on the Zurabian-Oskanian conversation’s eavesdropping.

He is convinced that the authorities will find the culprit. “It was a breach of moral norms, and regardless of whether any political interests were pursued or not, it was an immoral deed which should be punished”.

Badeyan ruled out that the recording was made by the National Security Service, noting that it is a law abiding agency and can do such a thing only with the permission of a court. In his opinion, any person who “has a telephone” could have done this.

Deputy of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) faction Lyova Khachatrian considered the deed as an immoral one, a high treason.
