Armenian delegation participates in CSTO sittings

Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian, and Secretary of the National Security Council Arthur Baghdasarian on December 19 participated in the joint sitting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization’s (CSTO) Council of Foreign Ministers, Council of Defense Ministers, and Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils, the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The agenda of the CSTO Collective Security Council’s sitting to be held on the same day and the issues to be discussed and aimed at strengthening the CSTO and the cooperation within its frame were discussed and approved at the sitting.

During the joint sitting, a number of documents were signed and submitted to the Collective Security Council for approval.

At the conclusion of the sitting, the Chairmanship of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers, Council of Defense Ministers, and Committee of Secretaries of National Security Councils was transferred from Kazakhstan to Kirgizstan.
