Motorways mostly passable

As of 9 am, all motorways of the country were mostly passable.

Berd-Chambarak, Sevan-Chambarak, Ijevan-Noyemberian, Goris-Kapan, Ashtarak-Gyumri, Yerevan-Yeghvard, Dilijan-Sevan, and Aparan-Spitak motorways were barely passable. The Selim mountain pass is closed because of a snow-storm and low visibility.

Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that some sections of the motorways are covered with ice. Road cleaning work is underway.

According to information provided by the Emergency Situations Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, Stepantsminda-Lars motorway is closed.
