Levon Zurabian is just coordinator of HAK

“Hraparak” day reports that while commenting yesterday on the possible nomination of Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction deputy Hrant Bagratian, the leader of Christian-Democratic Rebirth Party (CDR) Sos Gimishian did not rule out that if Levon Ter-Petrosian is not put up as a presidential candidate, CDR will support Hrant Bagratian.

“By making his statement, Bagratian has answered all the questions. That is to say, if Levon Ter-Petrosian is nominated, he will not struggle against him. This is an important statement,” Gimishian said.

In response to the remark: What if the HAK leader puts up the candidacy of Levon Zurabian, Gimishian said: “If nominated, what force will Zurabian represent? He does not represent any political team. He is just a coordinator of HAK”.
