Former employee sues NSC staff

Armen Ghazarian, an Armenian citizen, has brought a lawsuit against the staff of the RA National Security Council for illegally dismissing him from his job and not paying his salary, “Zhoghovurd” daily writes.

“The matter concerns the NSC Legal Unit’s senior expert who considers orders of NSC Secretary, the leader of Country of Law Party, lawyer Arthur Baghdasarian as “made-up”, personalized, and influenced by his political views. In the court, Armen Ghazarian expressed a willingness to give explanations and also to express an opinion regarding his politically-motivated dismissal from the job, but the court listened only to his legal arguments. According to Ghazarian, when he became ill and was unable to work for two weeks, Arthur Baghdasarian suddenly remembered about the employee’s 4-day “absences” four months ago and gave an order to dismiss him, citing the already amended articles of the RA Labor Code”.
