Badeyan: Do you want me to say: It is a pity he does not run in election?

“That man knows the reasons why he is not running in the election, and we just need to accept the reason who gave,” Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction deputy Manvel Badeyan said during a talk with Aysor.am correspondent, when commenting on Ter-Petrosian’s decision not to run for President and his explanation.

It should be reminded that the first Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrsian announced that he is not going to run in the upcoming presidential election, and explained his decision by his age, noting that it is time for younger persons to enter the arena.

Badeyan expressed an opinion that Ter-Petrosian has stronger reasons for not running in the election, than one might assume.
In response to the remark that there are many politicians who are much older, but are still engaged in politics, Manvel Baddeyan facetiously noted: “Do you want me to say:” It is a pity that he is not running in the election”?

According to him, age is a relative concept: some people do not feel healthy at the age of 60, whereas others continue to work at 90.
