Conservative Party quits HAK

The Conservative Party (Chairman Mikael Hayrapetian) has quit the Armenian National Congress (HAK).
The party issued a statement that reads:


“Taking into account the Armenian President Levon Ter-Petrosian’s public interview about his decision not to run in the 2013 presidential election, the Conservative Party, which is a founding member of the Armenian National Congress – on December 25, 2012, quits:
1. The Armenian National Congress (HAK).
2. The RA NA HAK faction.
The Conservative Party expresses its gratitude to the President-Founder of the Republic of Armenia for leading the All-National Movement since 2007. The Conservative Party will continue its consistent struggle for the establishment of constitutional order and Western civilization’s values in Armenia and the implementation of its vision of the Free and Independent Armenia”.

 

Conservative Party quits HAK
