ARFD not to put up own candidate

The ARF-Dashnaktsutyun will not put up its own candidate to run in the presidential election on 18 February 2013. Secretary of the ARFD faction Aghvan Vardanian made this statement at the meeting with reporters today, ruling out the possibility of supporting the authorities’ candidate.

“We rule out the possibility of supporting the candidate of the authorities, empowering the ARFD Supreme Body to observe the process of the presidential election,” Aghvan Vardanian said.

According to the ARFD deputy, the party will remain committed to their proposals that consist of 7 points.
