Armen Martirosian didn’t see Santa Claus
Everyone in the childhood believed in the existence of Santa Claus, a Christmas and New Year symbol. At the request of Aysor.am, a number of political figures have recalled their impressions at this age.
In the words of Deputy Chairman of Heritage Party Armen Martirosian, Santa Claus would visit his parents’ house late at night when Armen was already asleep, and this circumstance always annoyed greatly the future politician.
“It is typical of young children to believe in Santa Calus, otherwise there would be an abnormal situation. I don’t remember how long I believed in Santa Claus, but I can say for sure that as a first and second grader I believed in his existence. I never wrote any letters to him, but he would bring me the presents I wanted, a toy construction set being the most memorable present. My parents always told me that I was asleep when Santa Claus came to our house. Once I got very angry that he didn’t wake me up,” Armen Martirosian said.
