Karen Shakhnazarian appointed acting CEO of ArmenTel

The Financial Director of ArmenTel Company Karen Shakhnazarian has been appointed the acting Chief Executive Officer of the company, ArmenTel reported.

Karen Shakhnazarian was born in 1965 in Yerevan. Upon graduation from the Moscow Financial Academy in 1992, he worked in Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, later in a number of Russian investment companies and banks. In 2007 he joined VimpelCom Group of Companies as Financial Director of ArmenTel.
He is married and has two sons.
