434 babies born in Yerevan this year

During the first eight days of 2013, 434 babies were born in Yerevan. Mothers of 318 babies are Yerevan residents, 116 women are from provinces, Aysor.am was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
109 babies were born via Cesarean section.

Besides Yerevan, high birth rates were recorded in Armavir, Ararat, and Kotayk provinces, low birth rates – in Shirak and Vayots Dzor provinces.
