Paruyr Harikian: It is difficult to compete with me

“A few weeks ago the period was hopeless, whereas now an interesting period has begun”. Chairman of National Self-Determination Union (AIM), presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikian told at a press conference today, when speaking about his expectations from the upcoming presidential election. He added that he and his team are optimistic about the political processes.

“We have an advantage over the other candidates: it is the path we have followed so far. The others say: “We will do that thing for you”, whereas we say: “We will help you exercise the right to self-determination”, the presidential candidate stated.
In his words, the political field is cleaned, but now that the election is said to be non-competitive, there seems to be a misperception – “From the competitive point of view, it is difficult to compete with me”.

As for his presidential campaign slogans, P. Hayrikian said he has several slogans such as “Those leading you to Independent Armenia are also prepared for a free Armenia” and so on.
Speaking about pre-election offices, Hayrikian noted that they call their pre-election offices “staff”, which he said is working efficiently, but the main work will start on January 14.
