“Last election’s problems did not affect its results”

“During the last election there were some problems with voters’ lists and stamps on passports, but they did not have a significant impact on the election results,” deputy of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction Ruzan Muradian said, in response to the question of Aysor.am: “HHK declared that it is going to be an unprecedented election, different from the previous ones. In what way will this election differ from the other elections? Which problems, which were recorded in previous elections, will be eliminated this time?”

In her words, during the last election, good results were recorded both in terms of the election organization and its conduct.
“The pre-election and post-election stages and the Election Day were notable for the high level of organization, and the opinions of international observers also bear evidence of that,” R. Muradian said.

She expressed an opinion that civil activity should be encouraged in the upcoming election: citizens should be aware that they go to the polls to elect the Commander-in-Chief of Armenia, the person to whom they will entrust the future of their children and the security, stability and development of their families, the nation and the state in the next five years.
