Ashotian receives ENQA President

The Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotian received today the President of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) Achim Hopbach who is on a working visit to Armenia, the press service of Ministry of Education and Science reports.

The Director of the National Center for Quality Assurance in Professional Education Ruben Topchian also participated in the meeting. The issue of the Center’s full membership in ENQA was discussed at the meeting.

Minister Ashotian attached importance to the formation of professional associations in Armenia and their involvement in the quality assurance process.

Achim Hopbach said that given the work done by the National Center for Quality Assurance in Professional Education with the aim of becoming a full member of ENQA, the Center can apply to ENCA by undergoing the accreditation procedure.
