Minister hears dentists’ grievances, gives instructions

The Minister of Health Derenik Dumanian received a group of heads of dental services, who expressed their concerns and grievances to the minister in connection with the amendments to the Law on License Payments.

The meeting participants discussed problems of taxation of children’s dentistry, X-ray and orthopedic rooms in dental clinics, on which a double tax is levied now.

The minister instructed the respective departments to examine these problems and submit proposals based on results of an economic analysis, the Ministry’s press service reports.

The proposals will be submitted to other authorized bodies and the government, if necessary.
