Defense Ministry: Conscript dies in military hospital

Armenak Mkrtchian, a conscript of Unit N. of the Defense Ministry of Armenia, died today, on January 17, at 05:30 am in the Central Clinical Military Hospital. He was diagnosed with acute heart failure and pulmonary insufficiency, the press service of the Defense Ministry reported.

In connection with the fact, a criminal case was opened under Article 376 part 2 of the RA Criminal Code and an investigation was launched.

The Defense Ministry offers its condolences to the family, friends and fellow servicemen of Armenak Mkrtchian.
