Naira Zohrabian: BHK not to be involved in “Joint Headquarters 2”

“BHK will never be on the brink of disintegration because it is an ideological, serious, united and steadfast party”, Secretary of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Ms. Naira Zohrabian told the correspondent of Aysor.am, when commenting on the opinion frequently expressed now that unless BHK enters the coalition, it will reach the brink of disintegration.

“We are not running in the presidential election. If we are opposed to the current socioeconomic policy, I do not see any prospects of entering the coalition,” Ms. Zohrabian explained.

When asked whether a “Joint Headquarters 2” – similar to the one set up after the parliamentary elections - might be set up after the presidential election, she replied that if even such headquarters are created, BHK will not be involved in it because “we are neither running in the election nor supporting any candidate”.

“All those who are running in this election must oversee it,” Naira Zohrabian stressed.

Speaking about the issue of guiding the BHK electorate in the election, she said they will not guide their electorate and voters are free to make their choice.
