Armenia to chair CE Committee of Ministers this year

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the newly-appointed Head of the Council of Europe Office in Armenia Oleksandr Pavlyuk, the government press service reported.

The prime minister congratulated Mr. Pavlyuk on his appointment and wished him success in his work.
“We will do our best so that you will feel at home in Armenia and be able to carry out your mission without hindrance”, Tigran Sargsyan stated.

O. Pavlyuk thanked the Armenian prime minister for reception, stressing that this year Armenia will chair the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, which will allow promoting cooperation between Yerevan and Strasbourg.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the priorities and prospects of cooperation.
