V. Sedrakian to sit at home and watch others run in provinces

The presidential candidate, epos expert Vardan Sedrakian is not going to distribute any brochures or put up posters on panels until February 1. He will conduct his election campaign mostly by meeting with reporters, V. Sedrakian told a press conference today.

According to him, he will sit at home and watch the other candidates “run about in provinces”. Instead, he will closely cooperate with regional television companies and conduct his campaign in this way.

Sedrakian’s slogan is “God is above”, it is taken from the novel “One Hundred Years of Solitude” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
When asked what if he is not elected as President, Sedrakian replied that “such a thing is impossible”.

In his words, an Internet survey showed that he is ahead of the other candidates; Serzh Sargsyan is in second place, while the positions of other candidates are extremely unfavorable. “About 33% of voters on that website voted for me. The positions of Serzh Sargsyan as well as of the “magnificent” three – Bagratian, Hayrikian, and Raffi Hovannisian are very unfavorable”.

This is the reason why the epos expert will not conduct an active campaign until February 1, allowing other candidates to improve their positions a bit.

When asked why voters will elect him, Sedrakian gave several reasons.

“I will dissolve the unfair National Assembly and will allow all parties to run in new, fair elections, after which a new National

Assembly will be formed to become a counter-balance to the president. I will also abolish a number of taxes, including land and water taxes,” V. Sedrakian stated.
