Sos Gimishian to endorse Hrant Bagratian (video)

The leader of Christian-Democratic Rebirth Party Sos Gimishian apologized to the people in his interview with A1+ Television Company.

“We are to blame: the people had won, and there remained one thing for political figures to do – to formalize that victory, to make it de jure. We failed to do it,” Gimishian said.

Gimishian considers Armenian National Congress’s (HAK) attempts to cooperate with Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and ARF-Dashnaktsutyun as failed because these two political forces have never been opposition.

According to him, in order for the opposition, particularly for HAK, to undergo a revival, they should be honest and frank with the people.

The Christian Democratic Rebirth Party led by Gimishian has no intention of qutting HAK, but the party is going to endorse HAK faction’s deputy, Chairman of Freedom Party Hrant Bagratian in the upcoming presidential election.
