Adibekian: Interest of voters has grown

During the most recent survey carried out by “Sociometer” Sociological Center, 670 people declined to answer questions about the upcoming presidential election, explaining that they are not interested in politics. The Center’s Director Aharon Adibekian said at the meeting with reporters today that 1,650 people were surveyed.
If the election were held next Sunday, 72% of respondents would vote for Serzh Sargsyan, 20% for Raffi Hovannisian, 3.5% for Hrant Bagratian, and 3.5% for Paruyr Hayrikian.

Aharon Adibekian said that the central headquarters of Republican Party of Armenia asked them to conduct the survey.
It was also found that 89% of respondents know Serzh Sargsyan, 63% - Raffi Hovannisian, 50% - Paryur Hayrikian, 37% - Hrant Bagratian, 10% - Aram Harutyunian, 8% - Vardan Sedrakian, 8.5% - Arman Melikian, and 4% - Andreas Ghukasian.
According to Adibekian, the voters’ interest has grown by 11% in the last one and a half months.
