People should be confident not only about their present, but also future

In our country, importance is attached to all problems, and it is important that people be confident not only about their present, but also their future, said the Armenian President, presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan during the meeting with voters in the city of Agarak, Syunik province. The meeting was held as part of his election campaign.

Speaking about future programs, S. Sargsyan dwelled on problems of interest to residents of the region, particularly their social issues. “In parallel with sustainable growth, we should do everything possible to ensure social justice for all citizens so that people can be confident about their present and their future”.

The presidential candidate said that poverty continues to be a serious problem and experience shows that it cannot be solved by means of social benefits and charitable programs and it is necessary to thoroughly examine the causes of poverty.

S. Sargsyan said that the pension system has in recent years been taken from the clutches of injustice and now it is time for us to change the system: “With the introduction of an accumulative pension system, pension problems will be solved”.
In conclusion, Serzh Sargsyan said, addressing Agarak residents, that no one will build a good life for us and instead of us. “We should work persistently – this is the path leading to secure Armenia”.
