Hayrikian also to go on hunger strike but not join Andrias Ghukasian

“Immediately after becoming the Armenian president, I will start to work with all political forces and draft a new package of Constitutional amendments. The package will stipulate that electorate-raised issues must be put to referendum,” the leader of National Self-Determination Union, presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikian told reporters today.
According to him, a multi-seat electoral system will be introduced. “In case of such a system, Armenia will be divided into 27 electoral districts”.

Speaking about the hunger strike of another presidential candidate, Andrias Ghukasian, Paryur Hayrikian announced that he will also go on hunger strike, which will last only three days. “I will start my hunger strike on condition that he should end it in three days,” he said, adding that, however, his busy schedule prevents him from joining Ghukasian.
