Aharon Adibekian: 5% of voters will sell their votes

Five percent of the population will sell their votes in the upcoming presidential election in Armenia, sociologist Aharon Adibekian told reporters today.

He announced the results of the survey carried out on January 18-19 among 1,650 residents. 670 adults declined to participate in the survey, for the reason they take no interest in politics.

According to the survey, in the upcoming election Serzh Sargsyan will receive 20.7% of votes from Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), 4.2% from Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), 0.1% from Armenian National Congress (HAK), 0.2% from Heritage Party, 0.4% from ARF-Dashnaktsutyun, and 0.2% from Rule-of-Law Country Party (OEK).
Adibekian said that in fact, not all members of HHK support Serzh Sargsyan.
