Aram Harutyunian to go on 24-hour hunger strike outside CEC

Towards the evening the leader of National Accord Party Aram Harutyunian came to the Central Election Commission. He will go on 24-hunger strike outside the CEC.

In 24 hours the presidential candidate Aram Harutyunian will submit his application for his candidacy withdrawal the CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchian. Harutyunian has already written his application.

Harutyunian read out his application in front of the journalists. He once again called upon other presidential candidates to join him and withdraw their candidacies. “I have already received a response from Andrias Ghukasian. I visited him. He said they have discussed my proposal, and he promised to consider it later. I think his participation in the election would be a wrong move as he himself has been on hunger strike for 18 days under the slogan “Stop Fake Elections!” If he runs in this election and even wins it, it will appear that he has run in and won a fake election”.
