Gallup poll: Ghukasian’s anti-rating is highest

If the election were held last Sunday, 68% of voters would vote for the presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan, 24% for Raffi Hovannisian, 5% for Paruyr Hayrikian, 2% for Hrant Bagratian. Vardan Sedrakian and Aram Harutyunian would receive 0.3% of votes each, while Andrias Ghuaksian and Arman Melikian would receive almost no votes.

Chairman of Gallup International Association Office in Armenia Aram Navasardian and Head of the Research Unit Ms. Gayane Dajunts announced today these results of the public opinion poll conducted on February 2-5.

An attempt was also made to find out which candidate has the highest ant-rating. “Strangely enough, it was Andrias Ghukasian,” Navasardian said.

22% of respondents said they would never vote for Andrias Ghukasian, 21% - for Serzh Sargsyan, 20% for Hrant Bagratian, 11% for Vardan Sedrakian, and 4% said they would never vote for Raffi Hovannisian.

Taking into account both the negative and positive responses, Gallup International Association received the following data: Raffi Hovannisian had the best result – 24% would vote for him, 4% - would not. Andrias Ghuaksian had the worst result: almost no one said they would vote for him, and 20% of respondents said they would never vote for him.
