CEC urges Ghukasian to end hunger strike

The Central Election Commission of Armenia expressed its concern over the prolonged hunger strike of the presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasian, taking also into account the mass media reports about the deterioration of Mr. Ghukasian’s health, Aysor.am was informed by the CEC.

“Being concerned about the presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasian’s health, we urge him to stop his hunger strike and take steps to avoid health complications”, the press release says.

At the same time CEC urged the Health Ministry to immediately examine the presidential candidate and express an expert opinion.
