Facebook activists stage protest in Yerevan

The hunger-striking presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasian joined today Facebook activists staging a protest in Yerevan.

Ghukasian asked policemen to let the protesters approach the National Academy of Sciences, but Deputy Chief of Yerevan Police Valery Osipian told him to return to his hunger-strike place.

The protesters staged an action outside the presidential residence. They carried posters demanding an end to the regime in the name of prosperous and free Armenia.
