Arthur Baghdasarian did not receive instructions from anyone

“Arthur Baghdasarian did not receive instructions from anyone”, the member of Orinats Yerkir (OEK) parliamentary faction Hovhannes Margarian said during a briefing in the National Assembly, when asked whether A. Baghdasarian had received any instructions from Serzh Sargsyan to call upon people to vote for S. Sargsyan during the rallies held in the city of Gyumri.

“We have a memorandum, according to which OEK supports Serzh Sargsyan’s candidacy. We are free to meet with members of our party and instruct them to vote for Serzh Sargsyan,” Margarian said.

Another member of OEK faction, Mher Shahgeldian said they have held meetings in all provinces and there is nothing strange about it.

In his words, “this is a phenomenon proceeding from the signed document”.
