Vahan Hovhannisian elected regional co-chairman of Socintern

The member of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun Party Bureau Vahan Hovhannisian has been elected regional co-chairman of Socialist International (Socintern) association. The vote was held at the meeting of the SI Council in Portugal.

“The Turkish delegation left the hall during the vote and did not take part in it,” Hovhannisian said.

Commenting on the domestic political problems, he expressed an opinion that there is no real election struggle.

“The pre-election processes show that our decision not to run in the presidential election was correct,” V. Hovhannisian said.
