Sharmazanov: Raffi Hovannisian indulges in illusions

“The presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian, who preaches generosity and is inspired by philosophical motivation of the struggle between good and evil, is recently showing signs of aggression which I think are unbecoming to a man running for President. If some persons have advised Mr. Hovannisian to have a more nervous face for PR purposes at the final stage of the race, they have certainly deceived him. His image of a smiling politician is much more agreeable. So, if Raffi Hovannisian indulges in illusions, his teammates should do him a favor by advising him to return from a world of illusions to reality,” vice speaker of the National Assembly, spokesman for Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Edward Sharmazanov said, when commenting on Raffi Hovannisian’s actions in Aparan Medical Center.

“While admitting that no one has the right to put up campaign posters in a medical institution, I should say that no Armenian citizen, including a presidential candidate, has the right to fulfill functions of the appropriate bodies and adopt a posture of a teacher or a judge,” Sharmazanov stressed.

We would remind you that during yesterday’s election campaign in Aparan, upon spotting a poster with an image of HHK candidate, incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan in the Aparan Medical Center, Raffi Hovannisian tore it down the wall.
