Andrias Ghukasian: CEC decision does not reflect popular will

Today’s decision of the Central Election Commission recognizing Serzh Sargsyan as the winner of the presidential election does not reflect popular will and is unacceptable to most citizens, says a statement issued by Andrias Ghukasian, the head of Radio Hay, a former presidential candidate.

“I share the opinion of protesters outside the CEC who say that the commission decision was null and void from the moment of its adoption.

I urge those presidential candidates who do not acknowledge Serzh Sargsyan’s victory in the fake election to join their efforts to confirm the invalidity of the CEC decision,” Ghukasian stated.
