CEC: Serzh Sargsyan elected president

The Central Election Commission of Armenia has published the official final data on the presidential election held in Armenia on February 18.

According to the results, Hrant Bagratian received 2.15% of the votes, Paruyr Hayrikian – 1.26%, Raffi Hovannisian – 36.74%, Andrias Ghukasian – 0.57%, Arman Melikian – 0.26%, Serzh Sargsyan – 58.64%, and Vardan Sedrakian – 0.42% of the votes.

Thus, based on the results announced by the CEC, Serzh Sargsyan has been elected President of the Republic of Armenia.
