Post-election situation likely to be examined at parliament session

The post-election situation in Armenia may be discussed at a special session of the parliament, the head of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction Galust Sahakain told reporters today.

In his words, holding a special session is a technical matter and the respective agenda needs to be developed.

“After each election, the opposition becomes stronger, strengthening the authorities as well, or a new opposition is born and needs to be strengthened. Following this election, a new opposition was born and it is necessary to create an appropriate field, in which it can play a worthy role,” G. Sahakian said.
