Hovik Abrahamian calls for respect for Serzh Sargsyan’s voters

"We respect the votes of 539 thousand electors who voted for Raffi Hovannisian, and we call upon you to respect the votes of 861 thousand voters who gave their votes to Serzh Sargsyan,” the NA speaker Hovik Abrahamain said, addressing the members of “Heritage” opposition faction.

In his words, taking these figures into account, he fails to see how R. Hovannisian became Armenian president.

“I respect R. Hovannisian. The Western techniques he used in his election campaign were very good and efficient, but I don’t understand what kind of techniques is being used in the post-election period. I think we need to sit down at the round table and talk about all this. We all understand that these are not Raffi Hovannisian’s votes, but the votes of the opposition,” H. Abrahamian said.
