Parliament speaker meets with ex-mayor of Yerevan

The Armenian parliament’s speaker Hovik Abrahamian confirmed the press reports that he has met with ex-Mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetian who is currently a Deputy CEO of Gazprom Company, Russia.

The National Assembly speaker declined to give details of their meeting, but he assured the journalists that they did not discuss any political issues. “Our relations are quite warm, and we did not discuss political issues,” H. Abrahamian said at a press conference today.
