NA speaker: Nobody forced Shirak governor to resign

The National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamian said that nobody has forced the governor of Shirak province Ashot Gizirian to resign. According to Abrahamian, the Shirak governor performed his duties well.

“You should not link the activities of a governor with the election and its results,” the parliament speaker said at the press conference. He added that the government will soon assess the governor’s work.
