NA speaker: We are prepared to discuss any reasonable proposal

The Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly Hovik Abrahamian said that all the political forces, including Raffi Hovannisian, should accept their defeat in the presidential election and congratulate President Serzh Sargsyan.

“Raffi Hovannisian should propose a program of reforms to the authorities and president. We are prepared to discuss any reasonable proposal,” H. Abrahamian told reporters today.

In his words, a tough position is not in the interest of the country and people. “We need to sit down, talk, and hold discussions,” he noted.

The parliamentary speaker urged R. Hovannisian to make good use of the votes given to him.
