Adibekian: Hovannisian did not manage to unite with Free Democrats

“Raffi Hovannisian’s steps are incomprehensible. Well, they went to provinces and what next? R. Hovannisian cannot play the role of a unifier, he did not even manage to unite with Free Democrats Party,” the sociologist Aharon Adibekian said at a meeting with reporters today.

He expressed an opinion that Hovannisian has three options: to say “Sorry, my attempt failed”, to say that he will run for President the next time, or to start cooperating with the authorities.

Another speaker, psychologist Samvel Khudoyan noted that Raffi Hovannisian has taken a fourth path.

“By rallying additional forces round him, he is trying to achieve his goals,” Khudoyan said.

In his words, 6 years ago when the March 1 events took place, the goal of changing power was set, with both the authorities and opposition being aggressive.

“Now the objective is the same – change of power, although by peaceful means. All this will produce results if the opposition forces manage to unite,” the psychologist said.
