ARFD: R. Hovannisian inadvertently became single opposition candidate

Work is underway to issue a statement about a special session of the Armenian parliament, the head of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun faction Armen Rustamain told reporters at the National Assembly today.

“In the present post-election situation, we need a clear agenda and a roadmap so as to achieve the goals easily,” he noted.

According to him, unity always produces results, and it was unity that inadvertently made Raffi Hovannisian a single oppositionandidate.

“In fact, he has become the candidate, round whom the opposition masses rallied,” Rustamian said.
