Galust Sahakian: It is a pity that March 1 events turned into a tool

The March 1 issue cannot be closed from a legal point of view until all circumstances are revealed, the head of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) parliamentary faction Galust Sahakian said at a briefing in the National Assembly today, when commenting on the March 1 case.

As regards the political aspect, he said it is a pity that the March 1 events are turned into an instrument.

“From a political point of view, naturally we consider the issue closed, political processes are not such as to continue for a long time. But an attempt is being made to politicize it so I believe that some people try to cash in on this case, and the attempts to turn an incident into a tool are offensive to the whole nation,” G. Sahakian noted.
