Dentists shall pay 2,700 AMD daily. Is it a large or small sum?
“In Yerevan, dentists shall pay a tax of 2,700 AMD daily. Is it a large or small sum?” Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Vardan Aivazian asked a question at the press conference today, when discussing license payments.
In his words, the Law on License Payments was discussed for three months, with Galust Sahakian being the only person who raised the problem of dentists in connection with license payments.
For his part, the deputy of Heritage parliamentary faction Tevan Poghosian stressed the importance of participants in a discussion, noting that some laws are enacted, but later do not work.
He said dental clinics have begun to close after the Law on License Payments was adopted so the law should be examined, taking these people’ problems into account.
Vardan Aivazian stressed that in Armenia the supply of dental clinics’ services considerably exceeds the demand.
