Sedrak Kocharian not going to run in elections to Council of Elders

Sedrak Kocharian is not going to run in the upcoming elections to the Yerevan Council of Elders, Yerkir.am was informed by Victor Soghomonian, spokesman for the second Armenian President Robert Kocharian.

According to the source, the secretary of “Prosperous Armenia Party” (BHK) parliamentary faction Ms. Naira Zohrabian called the rumors that S. Kocharian will be included in the BHK list of candidates an “absurdity”. In her words, such information is spread and by the same center.

When asked whether it is possible that the leader of United Labor Party, member of BHK faction Gurgen Arsenian will lead the BHK list, she found it difficult to answer that question, saying that the party list will be complete in 2-3 days.
