Raffi Hovannisian meets with Norbert Lammert

The leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian met today with the President of the Bundestag Norbert Lammert. The situation in Armenia following the February 18 presidential election was discussed at the meeting that lasted about an hour.

“The will of the Armenian people must be respected,” R. Hovannisian stated.

He said that instead of defending authoritarianism and the rigged-up election, Germany should respect the democratic movement and the choice made by the Armenian people on February 18, the campaign office of R. Hovannisian reports.
