Ghukasian: Office rejection demand may become political
If the Constitutional Court rejects the two ex-presidential candidates’ applications disputing the election results, then the demand of the rejection of office by Serzh Sargsyan may become a political one, the ex-presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasian told reporters today during a briefing in the Constitutional Court.
“In this case I will join the forces that will demand Serzh Sargsyan’s rejection of his office,” Ghukasian declared.
In his words, the Central Election Commission and other commissions have become machines rejecting applications of opposition forces and candidates.
“It became clear from today’s report of the Prosecutor General’s Office that the law enforcement agencies are also state machines. All those bodies have a single approach: the public spreads unfounded information and the mass media releases unverified reports,” Andrias Ghukasian said.
