Hrayr Tovmasian: There was everything except law in this court room

““Karen was my student. Zaruhi is an active, honest citizen. I like and respect both of them,” Armenian Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasian said in his final speech in the Constitutional Court today, when characterizing the appellants. Let us remind you that H. Tovmasian has represented Serzh Sargsyan involved in the case as a third party.

“Yet I should say there has been everything except law in this court room recently. The rhetoric applicable in other courts is irrelevant here,” Hrayr Tovmasian said.

“We are not enemies, and this is not a quarrel between two persons. I would like this court be the last one examining the case and I would like the Constitutional Court to put a period to the political processes. I want everyone to believe – upon leaving the court – that the court did everything possible,” Hrayr Tovmasian noted.

Thus, the Constitutional Court has finished examining the applications of Raffi Hovannisian and Andrias Ghukasian.
