Police do not allow pitching tent in Liberty Square

Attempts were made to pitch a tent for hunger-striking leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian in Liberty Square of Yerevan, but the police did not allow.

The head of “Heritage” parliamentary faction Ruben Hakobian told citizens not to take any provocative actions and act within legal boundaries.

The head of the Yerevan Municipality’s press service Arthur Gevorgian told Aysor.am yesterday that a decision of whether to allow pitching a tent for Raffi Hovannisian would be made toward the evening.

Arthur Gevorgian said today a respective decision of the municipality has not yet been issued.
