“None of forces boycotting election believed the people”

“None of the forces boycotting the election believed the people. I asked the people to believe me and they did,” the leader of Heritage party, ex-presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian stated at the press conference in Liberty Square.

“I respect all the candidates – the candidates who boycotted the election and those who ran in it, but I should say that nothing will happen without the people and I will not do anything without them,” R. Hovannisian said.

When asked what he will do if the demands are not met and if people call for concrete steps, R. Hovannisian replied that he will make a speech on April 9 and present his demands and proposals. “I will consult with the people. I am not going to take a step without them”.

Compared to the open-air press conferences held in recent days, today’s event was rather brief and similar questions were mostly asked.
