Jangirian doesn’t see point of staging hunger strike
“A hunger strike is a weak political move,” deputy of the opposition HAK (Armenian National Congress) faction of the Armenian parliament Gagik Jangirian told reporters today, when commenting on Raffi Hovannisian’s hunger strike.
He said he doesn’t see the point of staging a hunger strike. When asked if he intends to visit R. Hovannisian, Jangirian replied he has no moral right to do it because he is not a member of Hovannisian’s team, even though some representatives of HAK faction have visited him.
In his words, the actions in Liberty Square are illogical and have no definite plan of actions.
